Marketing aims for digipack
Target consumer: Our target consumers will be young adults aged between 16-21 from various backgrounds and ethnicities.
Unique Selling Point: The digipack has a more personal feel, due to the front cover image being the band during a performance. This intimate feel is also shown through the picture of them messing about in the insert of the digipack.
Attention/Awareness: The main purpose of creating a digipack is to market the band and the song. An added bonus to the album is the music video that comes along with it. This entices people into buying the album and brings more attention to the band.
Interest: People who listen to indie music would show an interest in this product due to the conventions of the genre it follows.
Price: The product will be priced at £9.99 which is the average price for an album.
Place: The digipack will be sold at music stores such as HMV and Banquet Records as well as online on sites such as amazon and Itunes.
Promotion: The digipack will be promoted though the accompanying magazine advert as well as music stores/shops, television and online. This is called cross media promotion which uses different media to maximise promotion and reach wider audiences.
